Crafting Again

Sometime in July I started this burlap bee door hanger as a back to school gift for Ellen's teacher.  Her class is called the "Honeybees" and I thought her teacher would love this.  I got as far as cutting out the shape and painting the yellow stripes.  Morning sickness kicked in and I put it away until September.  Ellen, who is my harshest critic, tells me that the bee looks sad, like he is missing his mommy.

At the same time I started this football and planned on giving it to my favorite LSU fan for her birthday which was in July.  I got as far as cutting out the football shape back then.

We had an LSU theme baby shower that inspired me to resurrect this project.  It also inspired me to make these Gold and Purple fruit kabobs.

Not wanting to leave the Little Bee out of the crafting fun, I have been collecting toilet paper tubes to make glow-in-the-dark Halloween monsters with.

Ellen loves to paint and really dug this project.

It's great to be feeling more like "me" again, even if it's not all the time.
Love, The Little Bee and her Momma
