We didn't travel too much this summer but we did make it to Austin for the amazing wedding of Pat and Kristin Watkins. This was one of the most beautiful weddings I have been to in a long time and I wish I had some photos to share but I was having too much fun to take any! Our Little Bee came with us and I got to show her off to my sweet ADPi sisters. Ellen loved the hotel and immediately started jumping on the bed. I don't know how she figured out this was something to do because no one showed her. She explored the whole room and loved the floor to ceiling mirror on the closets.
We took her to Zilker Park where she got to feed the duckies and turtles. This started her fascination with ducks. We have a few decoys around the house that she loves to stop and have a chat with. "Duck, duck, duck" she tells them over and over.
We also took a family ride on the park train. She really loved this! Our Little Bee waved to all the people and doggies until she couldn't wave anymore and fell asleep on Mommy.
We wanted her to sample some local Austin fare and took her to lunch at Threadgill's. She liked the rolls and crayons the best! Daddy also bought her a Threadgill's T-shirt that she loves to sleep in.
While in Austin Ellen and I visited our hotel pool where she had her first dip. She thought this was pretty fun but didn't know what to do when one over served guest let her dog jump in the pool! Little Bee, Momma looks forward to many more fun trips with you! You and Daddy are my favorite travelling companions and I would follow you anywhere! Love, The Little Bee and her Momma
