Giddy Up!

Ellen lost her heart to a cowboy this summer.

After eating dinner at Crider's we mosied over to the rodeo. Ellen got a little red star stamp on her hand that she promptly got all over herself. As soon as the bulls flew from the pins, trying their hardest to buck those cowboys from their backs, Ellen fell in love! She loved the animals, the people cheering, and all the action.

Daddy couldn't have been more thrilled to some of his latent cowboy genes spring to life in our Little Bee. She literally was riveted to the rodeo from start to finish. Here she is asking her Daddy, "Why can't I go muttin bustin?".

For now, Little Bee, I hope you are content to sit on the side lines but maybe one day Daddy will sign you up for horseback riding lessons. You sure love the pony rides you have had so far! This was another one of those moments when I just wish I could read her little thoughts. What did she think of those wild bulls bucking all over the place, the rodeo clowns running around the arena, the colorful fringed chaps, and the men who flew from bulls and broncos? I guess I'll never know the details of those precious thoughts but I can definitely say that we have a budding cowgirl on our hands! Love, The Little Bee and her Momma
