I wanted to start this post off with a picture that will surely prompt Aunt Mufffy to call me for a fashion consultation. She tried to get me to promise I would refrain from posting any pictures on the Internet of me in my Elmo shirt. She also does not approve of this shirt being work in public and I am clearly breaking both of these rules right now!
Ellen also broke this "No Elmo shirts" rule and thought we looked pretty fancy! We took this fashion risk at a recent Sesame Street Live show. Our whole family played hooky with Davis, Preston and their Mommies. We all agreed that this was way more fun that working on a Friday!
The kiddos thought the 2nd row seats that Davis's Mommy scored were pretty great!
Of course Daddy bought cotton candy, popcorn and a huge Elmo balloon "for" Ellen. Daddy is pretty much into spoiling his girls any second he gets. It is not unusual for me to be in the toy aisle explaining to him why Ellen doesn't need that new toy...
Ellen LOVED this show and had her eyes glued to the stage the entire time. She sang, blew kisses, and waved at the characters.
I have to say that this show was much better than Yo Gabba Gabba Live. Both were good and we had a great time but Sesame Street just seemed more organized and like a higher quality production. All that was lost on Ellen who thought both were the most fun she has ever had.
